Work of the highest quality cannot be rushed. Our work is hand crafted, using traditional methods, equipment, and custom tools which are often designed by hand here in our studio to meet the most exacting details. We take pride in excellence, and enjoy building beautiful legacy works for our clients.
As I am sure that you have noticed by seeking out our services, that this trade is quite rare, and the dedication to detail which we offer is rarer still. Due to this, we do have a long waiting list of (PATIENT) clients, many of whom have returned decade after decade. As such, we must apologize if we cannot accomodate extreme deadlines without charging similarly extreme fees.
We will not sacrifice quality for expedited service. We have built a reputation for the highest standards of quality, which is neither fast, nor cheap. We do charge a minimum fee for repairs, as even the humble paperback requires an hour or two to mend properly.
In order to help keep costs to our clients down, we group similar orders together so as to help lessen re-tooling and set-up times, though, should we be convinced to take on a "life or death" or "last minute" rush order, that these additional costs will substantially increase our rates.
We guarantee our workmanship, and should something be found materially at fault, (such as a typo ... sadly, it's happened) we will repair the work free of charge as quickly as we are able to fit it into the next batch of similar work.
Unfortunately, there have been a few uncivil incidents of disrespectful behaviour on the part of some less than pleasant people. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable, and should someone forget their manners, become abusive, demanding, callous, or rude, we will not hesitate to cancel their order, return their projects unfinished, and charge an appropriate service fee. We endeavor treat our clients and their projects with appropriate care and attentiveness. We expect the same in kind. Thank you for your understanding.
