We try to make ordering your thesis binding as simple as possible. We can arrange to have as many copies of your thesis bound as you require, for both personal copies as well as department copies, and gifts for your supervisors and family.
In order to process your order, we require you to email us your PDF copy to OctaviaPress@Hotmail.Com with an EXACT COUNT of Color and Black pages. (We will not collate your color pages seperately, as this takes an unreasonable amount of time.) We will also require the title as you want it to appear on the spine of the book. We include ONE LINE of type on the spine of your book, to a maximum of 45 characters. Additional lines of text and your university logo are available with additional setup fees. Should you request your full title, name, degree, university name, date, or school crest on the front of the book, note that each line may carry a maximum of 25 characters per line (including spaces and punctuation), and school crests, logos, or coats of arms are only available as a special order. We will need to know the number of copies you require, and the color of cloth for your department or school. (Please, have all of this information ready BEFORE YOU CALL.)
Once you have sent the email for us to process your order, call us at (587)700-6575, and we will figure out your prices. We give volume discounts for orders of ten or more of the same books. We cannot give discounts on orders less than this amount.
We require all thesis and dissertation binding to be paid in advance, with E-Transfer (passcode: octavia), or Credit Card (Note that there is an additional 5% processing free for Credit Card Orders).
Currently, due to COVID as well as several other unfortunate delays in receiving our orders of supplies (Quarantine), our turn around times are longer than normal. Typically, we aim for approximately two months. Currently, our manufacturing times are a few weeks longer than this. Please be patient. WE CANNOT RUSH ORDERS.
FINE LEATHER THESES are available for those who wish to celebrate their degree, but they cost significantly more than Library Buckram Cloth Binding. This is a VERY popular option, but please note that these are a SPECIAL CUSTOM ORDER, and they take several months to create. The leather is hand dyed, hand tooled, and individually crafted for each client. They are custom EVERYTHING, and cost several hundred dollars. They are the kind of status symbol that most people only see in the movies, and we are happy to share in your success with an incredible, one of a kind keepsake as an adornment for your office, or as a very special gift for your family.
